We spent a pleasant Saturday afternoon enjoying lunch, wine and good conversation at the Weinhotel Romer. The restaurant is located in the historic Alzey aldstadt and has indoor and outdoor seating. The outside overlooks the central well and the bronze Warhorse statue, while the interiors...Antiques and old style German decorative features. The menu available in German is varied with traditional German tariffs and vegetarian options. The menu includes a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The staff is efficient and pleasant. Recommended!
If you are in Alzey you have to have a break in Römer ! The owner Heiko and the long time server Angela will help you to find the perfekt meal... for lunch and dinner! Best are the Schnitzel , but try the daily changing offers ....Have a wine instead of a Softdrink; the wine is home made!
This is a place with a nice terrace to sit outside at a small square. Service was friendly but food nothing special and to expensive for what I got meat was more than well done and lost its taste. Baked onions had to much oil...on them.
Had a lovely meal here with my family. There wasn't anything on the menu that my son particularly fancied but they happily made him cheesy noodles which he really enjoyed. They serve local beer that my husband likes v much.
