So much fun! What a historic little jewel! It's an 1840 block house, guys. It won't be much cooler than that. Many nuances ciders on tap, and many options are available dry. I liked everything I tried in my flight. You have a fireplace filled with games that my children really occupied while we hang. There is also a bathroom that I think is somehow rare for 1840, so maybe it was added after the fact as the apple grove;)Because of its location near all other shops in Market Station (the big promenade Dingie, the houses Tuskies downtown) many places supply food right to you! We have pizza from Fire Works without having to get up. Cider and a pizza in an 1840 hut? That's my guy.
I really enjoyed this place, it is cozy and the seating areas are clean. The bathroom is super small, so if you're a big guy, don't go in. LOL. As for the cedar, like this place! We tried the Hopscotch, Galaxy, Hatch and Saxby. We all enjoyed it. My personal favorite is the Hopscotch, as it had a meade taste to it and apple wine. The saddest part is that I'm going a few, but they ran out of the cans. I also liked to buy a glass from the apple wine or winery that I visited, but unfortunately they don't sell their glass for me home as a souvenir. That's another minus in my book. Hopefully they will consider selling the glass one day.
Wild Hare Cider is my way to the community. Their cedar tend to be on the dryer side and even hoppy, but are very pale. Their special small batches ciders are always great, and their holiday seasonal, revelation, is my favorite. The cabin is cozy and meant to sip and vice versa or play a few board games while you have some cedar. Great place!
Big hard cedar! Live music on the first Friday of each month is not great at all, so avoid this night.
