Willoughby Woodfired Pizza & Kebab

I ordered a takeaway pizza from WWP on Friday night, and when I turned up to pick it up, the Pizza cook, took it out of the oven and said it was burnt so he would have to cook me another one. This offer, though inconvenient to wait another 15 minutes for the next pizza, was an appreciated good will gesture. They gave me the first burnt pizza complimentary. I then went home with the first burnt pizza and the freshly cooked second one. Once I got home, I opened the 'fresh' pizza, only to find it was more burnt than the first - inedible! I phoned WWP and the man who I believe was managing (Marni) offered to cook me another one. It was pouring rain, and having ordered my first pizza at 6.30, and it was now 7.30, I said I wasn't going out again. He seemed to understand, and offered to give me a refund. I went tonight to get the refund, and the owner advised me that I should have bought the pizza back the night it occurred and that no refund would be forthcoming. Defeats the purpose of 'take away' convenience when you have to wait 20 minutes for the pizza after the first one was burnt, and then to have to go back again in the pouring rain. I ended up having scrambled eggs! I found the owner to be indifferent to my complaint, and said he had more than compensated me by cooking me 2 pizzas - not acknowledging that they were burnt and inedible. I wont order pizza from here again - no convenience, no customer service - just burnt pizza.

The service may not be over the top friendly but they aren't rude. It's really a take away place although there are seats to sit and eat in, it's not a 'restaurant'. But regardless of above, the pizza here is the best pizza we've had this side of the bridge. We order Meatlovers with BBQ sauce and Willoughby Special (which is equivalent of the Lot). We use to live in Annandale and Leichardt and my husband is Italian/ Argentinian so I think we know pizza's. The pizza's here are fresh, crispy and served with ample topping. My family loves the pizza here and so do the friends we introduce them to. It's far better than any pizza we had in this area and we've been here 9 years now.

Very nice and healthy Turkish street food. Try the Adana Kebab sandwich or plate. Also worth trying their Turkish pizza. Open late for family snack in lower north shore. Beat the hell out of junk food

I stop in here from time to time as the pizza and kebabs are good and fresh and made quickly. The pizza is not gourmet but is great as a late night snack with friends. BBQ charcoal kebab is very good.

Made to wait 3.5 hrs for home delivery after which i lost patience and cancelled the order. Would never order from here again.
