Windows Restaurant at Hotel d'Angleterre

Very comfortable restaurant, and the front-of-house staff very welcoming and charming.The food itself was somewhat disappointing. I tried the vegetarian tasting menu for dinner. The starters were innovative, and done with precision. The main courses were not worthy of the prices. The lentils were very watery; the butter-paneer was overly sweetened (and the paneer had a very industrial texture; didn't feel like made from scratch in the kitchen; not what I would expect from a restaurant and chef of this standing), and overall, the dishes felt a bit under-seasoned and flavorless. The naan and rice accompanying the main-course were very good.The salty lassi was way too dense -- it was difficult to drink. It seemed like the wrong kind of yogurt had been used to make the lassi.Overall, I felt that for the prices, they could have come up with a more ambitious menu. And since it is called "Indian Food Festival", they could have tried to stick to more 'authentic' levels of spicing instead of catering to Swiss palettes -- let people discover what Indian food really is like!

Один из самых знаменитых ресторанов Женевы. Ресторан высшего уровня. Мы не в нем обедали. Красивейший вид на центральную набережную, фонтан и озеро. Еда и обслуживание очень понравилась. Красивая подача. Очень рекомендую посетить. Стоимость обеда была для такого места очень адекватной.

Une belle adresse, le carde et l'emplacement sont parfait avec vue sur le lac..Tout y est cosy et élégant, le service de qualité et les mets sont délicieux...peut-être certains sont un peu plus onéreux..Pour un dîner romantique, ou entre amis, c'est une jolie soirée assurée..

Bir is yemegi nedeniyle gittim. Ortam cok guzel. Manzara harikaydi. Caddenin yaninda olsada gol ve daglari gorebiliyorsunuz. Yemekler cok guzeldi. Sorbe bir harikaydi. Calisanlar inanilmaz kibar ve guler yuzlu.

Food is tasty but menu has to be improved no variety. Food is very expensive will not come again for sure .
