Okay, I'm just giving Wolfies a 4 star because I love the name and the little diner was very sweet. But the food was okay. I never say that food is bad, but it could definitely have been better, but then again maybe it was just that day and leaned to the end of the day. I had the French toast who was decent, quite normal French toast. I also had a side of potatoes that were not my favorite, along with sharing Potato Latkes, which tasted quite well with the sauce it served. The beast had a pattie melt of a kind I think it was okay, overall the food could have been better. As far as the service was interesting to say the least. I couldn't really tell the waitress, but she stared really hard Lol. I don't know if it was different to see someone who is obviously not a local, or my creepy Ozzy Osborne shirt, but she was definitely curious enough to make almost the experience unpleasant. Good music tastes, Bruce Springsteen???? An interesting dinning experience could give a second chance if there is something else on the menu that they serve better.
So lucky to have this tasty, consistent, friendly restaurant. No disappointment! Breakfast is delicious, and HUGE! Service? Always great and for a restaurant that is always busy, this is a great offer! Homemade pastrami should not be missed. Just order it with all the other meals you get! The salads are colorful, really fresh and perfectly complemented. Seriously, love and pride are visible in every court. Excellent!
Excellent brisket, pastrami, and corned beef.. we ordered the Wow sandwich and got to sample all of them, piled high on many slices of rye. And we got the disco fries on the side. The owner (who is not Wolfie, but Wolfie?s mom) came out to compliment us on a great order. Sweet D, our waiter, was so quick and personable. We?ll definitely be back on the next visit to Warwick!
This is the best breakfast / lunch place in the world. Everything's just great. Pastrami sandwich, chicken soup, breakfast, cappuccino, etc were the best we ever had somewhere. Your carrot cake for dessert should be distributed colorfully.
