Wood Fire Grill

I believe staff have recently changed as the disgraceful service we received was inexcusable. We had received confirmation via text earlier in the week confirming our booking, yet the head waiter refused to believe this until he saw the text on arrival. We were made to feel like an inconvenience as the huffy staff finally created a table for us, even though the error was theirs, we could have understood if the restaurant was full but it was half empty and the problem could have easily have been rectified in a matter of minutes without the head waiter trying to insist he was right and leave our table of 15 pax awkwardly standing around. Once realising the error was on their end, the staff were not apologetic, rather continued to give cold, rude service throughout the evening. But the good was lovely.

Booked for a 40th birthday when we arrived they had no reservation on there computer, also no one had any idea where all the balloons were that were delivered by one of are party that morning.They kept us standing there for over 10 minutes uninformed of if we were even going to get a table. After 15 minutes we asked if (a) we will get a table or do we have to go somewhere else (b) Not offered to get a drink while they had us all standing there waiting for an outcome.First waitress was very rude muttering under her breath 2nd waitress was excellent When I went to the toilet the condition was disgusting bins overflowing, excrement smeared on the wall tiles, urine on the floor this was 5.30pm at the beginning of the night.

Cannot express how much we love it here! We are locals and come here as often as we can. The food is always exceptional and great to share! There are so many good options how can you not share as you just want to try everything! My stand out was the wood fired vegetables with goats curd accompanied with "the big board" the duck liver parfait on there is a must try and shoestring fries on the side....just to name a few! I think I will work my way through this menu twice over and know I wont be disappointed! Thank you!

Me and 3 friends loved the entire evening here last week. But what stood out the most was the amazing food. We shared the Chermoula Spiced Chicken, the scotch fillet (cooked to perfection) and selected a few sides!! All of us loved the flavours and overall experience. Great place to come with friends, share a selection of food and is reasonably priced for what you get. Will be back again!!

This place was recommended to us. Unfortunately, it was not a favourite.Meals were average. However, customer service was excellent.Wish I would have liked it - just not for me.
