Wood-n-tap Hartford

We love this restaurant! Our favorite Wood-N-Tap location by far (And possibly restaurant ever). My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this location after re-thinking out decision to dine out at BlueBack. We ended up having so much fun! Phillip, our server, was making us laugh practically the whole time and his welcoming persona actually made us want to come back and visit him! He was probably the best waiter we've ever had. My boyfriend and I were very satisfied with the service in general. He got our orders spot on (understanding all of the complexities in our orders), and we felt that we really had all of his attention (despite the fact that it looked like he was the only waiter on and had many other tables to tend to). Additionally, the managers at this place were great both times that we came, demonstrating the same welcoming attitude and being a part of the service. Honestly this place deserves six stars. We will be back! Thank you Phillip!!!!!

Was not disappointed by a Wood n Tap yet. And last night was no exception. Leilani was great as our server. The food was excellent my wife had the chicken Valdostana and I had the Bourbon Glazed salmon. We had the sores as an appetizer and for me always a cup of their homemade shells. For dessert, without hyperboles, we probably had the best pumpkin cheese cake we've ever had better than factory. It was a great anniversary dinner, both you and ours (26 years). It was a great celebration.

Recently I visited Hartford Wood-n-Tap to try their limited retro menu, which I am so fun for the restaurant to celebrate its 20th anniversary. All we had was delicious, especially the crabs and tap room pommes!! The prices were returned to what they were originally in 2002, so you can't really beat them. Although it was a bit loud, because it was from a main street, the terrace was nice with the flowers that they were out, and I appreciated the parking lot over the street!

We had a great lunch! The food was absolutely delicious. We stole every court we ordered. We enjoyed the Monster Nachos especially. You also have really big mocktail (non-alcoholic) options. The waitress was really sweet and hit some great adjustments for vegetarian options, i.e. monster nachos without meat. The ambience is really nice with options to dine outdoors, in the lounge or in the dining area. A fantastic experience! It'll eat again when I'm in Hartford.

A great restaurant very comfortable and pleasant with a great service! The food was excellent! Five stars! Very recommended!
