If you a out of towner like me looking authentic Jamaican cuisine this place is it!! I relocated from NYC not to long ago and tried a few different spots and YummiExpress by far the real deal! The goat is always out of this world delicious, the jerk chicken is “Real jerk chicken” off the grill! None of that funny business I’ve experienced other places. If you try it ask for the jerk sauce, it’s a nice combo of sweet and extra spice but the chicken is solid on it’s own. The oxtails nice too tender and juicy delicious! Also the festival is bomb too, it’s always made fresh to order. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, just good vibes all round. I’ve been there a few times and they Never disappoint. From the food, bright and clean atmosphere to the great customer service the best Jamaican restaurant in Cincy!
The food was amazing!!!!!! We were in Cincy craving some Caribbean food and man did we hit the jackpot. We ordered Oxtail and it was so juicy and tender, with rice and cabbage. We also had their jerk chicken meal, curry chicken, and beef Pattie’s. Everything was finger licking delicious. They have a spicy sauce that I requested that tastes like a mango habanero/scotch bonnet peppers that is fire!! It’s literally so spicy but delicious. The gentleman that took our order was so kind and so attentive to us! He provided excellent service! All I know is everytime we’re in Cincy, this is our top spot to go!!
