Yves Garrec - Tisch reservieren

we have eaten here for lunch 5 times since we discovered it when first buying our mobile home in Pont-l'Abbe last September. Always busy and lunch great value - and our schnoodle, Sybil, welcome. Madam, on her own, seems to cope with serving all her customers so efficiently. Today my wife had the plat du jour (chicken with frites) and an Ile flottant, whilst I had a large mixed meat and cheese salad, steak and chips followed by cheeses, with a half litre house red for €32. Now how could you get a tasty meal for a price like that back in the UK? Just a great value cafe/bistro.

More of a café than a full blown restaurant with a bar area attached.We went for lunch soon after 2 p.m. on a weekday and ordered two separate main courses but the same, very nice, main course for both of us.Got the impression from the tables that were being cleared that had we come at 'normal' lunchtime it was the sort of place where a bottle of red wine was put on the table and you helped yourself - very French.

I visited a few times and found the beer and whiskey selection to be quite good, and the friendly bartenders helped me order in broken French and helped me
