Coeliac review: Preface to say this was my first time eating here gluten free, but I used to eat here often as one of my favourite restaurants. I was asked about allergies on arrival and stated gluten for myself, the server explained scanning the barcode on the menu for allergen info. I asked whether the foods listed gluten free were cooked separate or cross contaminated and was informed that anything fried was cooked with gluten so “it depends how sensitive you are” (to which I stated I was coeliac so it was a no go) but this was a huge red flag. It’s also important to note this is not mentioned on the allergen menu next to the items. I was informed the pizzas are cooked in the same oven on a separate tray and pasta is also separate so to stick to these options. I opted for pizza. The toppings were lovely but unfortunately the base was very undercooked and doughy/stodgy. The server did not return after initially bringing us our meals, it ended up being a senior staff that came over to clear our plates as we had been waiting a while (it was busy as a Saturday). He asked how the meal was and I gave him my honest feedback about the pizza base, and he kindly omitted this item off the bill. Overall: Do not recommend for gluten free. Red flags on cross contamination as this wasn’t explained when I stated an allergen and I had to enquire more. Pizza express is much nicer for gluten free and there is one locally.

We have eatn here regularly over the lsat three years and been very happy. We went there yesterday – 4 of us for lunch (Jan and I plus son and his girlfriend • We discovered they no longer take Tesco vouchers ' The other two are both vegans • When we were ordering the waitress said Vegan items had to be ordered elsewhere (why??? • When the meals arrived only 3 of them were there • Mine was missing and my wife 's was incomplete • There were profuse apologies and I was assured it would be ready in one minute. My wife 's missing item duly arrived – my entire meal didn’t • Two minutes later I enquired again about mine and was assured it would be ready in three minutes • Mine arrived 15 minutes later – the others were virtually finished eating • Mine was the wrong pizza – I ate it anyway, not wanting to delay the others • When I’d finished mine the waitress, having offered ue thhe pudding menus, unprompted arrived with a machine so I could pay the bill • The front screen, unbelievably, prompted me to select how much tip I wanted to leave • Throughout the whole meal I felt we were in the way and they wanted us out We won 't be back great shame

Great food though it did seem the main course has been cooked while still eating starters as it came out VERY quickly after starter plates were taken away Got served by 3 different servers, two ok, 1 rude, slammed down the bill without asking if we wanted coffees, we had to ask a different server if we could order coffee, asked for decaff.. took order then came back and said they didnt have any, sweetners only were put on the table, told they didnt have sugar Tried to get the attention of the rude server, who ignored us until we waved to grt her attention saying that we wanted to pay our bill Got to be honest, wont be going back... because of the one server, who spoilt the whole experience for all of us Very disappointed!

Very busy, but service very quick. And the person looking after us throughout our evening, was very helpful and cheerful. Food very nice. The occasion was for our daughters birthday and we all had a very enjoyable time. Would recommend.

Foid was piping hot, very tasty. Joe was our server who was polite,friendly and attentive. Everything we wanted we could have. Would highly recommend.
