You need to have the overall impression sinked back into the past during this trip. When you enter the building during the day, when the sun shines, you will get the impression of a dark cave with a scary atmosphere. It's so dark... that you can't really see the few and unlit steps that lead to a part of the guest room. So you should be very careful because it is not assumed that you accidentally bring a flashlight. When the eye gets used to the darkness, you see a more rustic interior, but somehow it has a lot of cosiness. The photos do not really let you see this as they were brightened up so you can see something in the pictures. The menus are already on the table and you will find a less extensive but sufficient offer of more or less typical German dishes. In any case, everyone should find something suitable for eating. The service is very friendly and always there if you want to order something. It is also not unnoticed if you have emptied a glass. Now they'll ask if you want to drink. The ordered dishes arrive after a short waiting period. They correspond to what is generally called home kitchen. You're okay, but you shouldn't have excessive expectations. There is a large free parking space on the premises of the restaurant so that you have no problems when you arrive by car. In addition, there is a beer garden that is ideal when the weather is suitable. Overall, the visit is also recommended due to the unusual interior of the former coal house.
