Have been going the LE Normand for many years and have lived the good and bad times since the original owners had the restaurant. The new owners are young and dynamic, have given the restaurant a make over in the cafe area and the terrace which is excellent, they are looking to rebrand the name as LNA it give a young modern touch to the place. The most important now is the food, choice of wine and the service. There is a nice selection of lake fish, and meat, the first time I went this week for a business lunch had Fillet de Perch, that was served with and excellent salade before hand, the meal it self was nicely served with vegetables and French fries on the side.Later in the week went back in the week in the evening and had Steak Tartar, hand cut! Once again nicely served, bit of a down side had to ask 3 times for the accompanying toast......these should come with the meal not 10min later.Service is overall very good and friendly, Saturday evening they were fairly busy on the terrace and inside as well so I think they were a little bit overwhelmed. The wine list is very good mostly local wine, which I find is very good to promote the excellent wines of the region.Price are very reasonable, we will be going back often as they deserve the support.

Rien de trançandant. Une cuisine correcte. Service correcte. Terrasse sympathique. Les prix ne sont pas trop élevé. Aucune découverte. Filet d'agneau et sauce moutarde servit avec frites.... Bon.

For red meat lovers, this restaurant in the countryside offers a limited menu of beef and horse meat steaks. Salads are served with the main dish and local red and white wines can be ordered by the glass. To be recommended for those who want to explore little known places in quaint villages in the Swiss countryside.

Now just over a sine the owners have taken over Le Normand and it has just got better as it goes on. The menu changes often and follows the seasons as well as lots of specialities during the year. There is is also often nice...whole fish that they prepare at the table. Midday there is also the Menu that has a Soup/salad, main dish and dessert for around Great selection of local wine. Excellent friendly service you always feel welcome. As I finish this review we are going to eat at Le Normand this evening. Can only give it the highest recommendation.

Little village restaurant tucked away between orbe and romainmotier. the rillette de bondellle was excellent, and my companion's filet d omble Chevallier was scrumptious. Fine cuisine, generous portions, staff very very nice and helpful, price is right. Will definitely be back. Full on a Wednesday,...booking a table is a good idea.
