La Columbiana customers began arriving as soon as the place opened for business in the morning, so the locals and tourists alike had certainly done their homework in timing to get there at the opening hours. The place is located on the rear side of the main train station at Tram stop Bahnhofeingang Gundeldingen.This is a small place with about five sidewalk tables. Inside, there are about 14 close and comfy stools at the bar, two prime window seating tables with padded chairs at each side of the entrance with great sidewalk viewing.No need to ask if they carry a milk substitute as your options are listed on the main wall menu board. I had the soy milk hot chocolate (4.80CHF,) which was delicious and served with a glass of water, with-out having to ask for it. All this in addition to free, secured Wi-Fi. The gentleman running the place was effecient, friendly and welcoming. A great visit!
if you want to drink a good coffee juice, you must go from the columbiana to get the aroma of a good coffee or a cappuccino.
High quality coffee from Colombia, Peru, Mexico, Nicaragua. Excellent choices and intimate environment. Highly recommended.
I drink one of the best espressos. For coffee lovers, a large selection of different beans, also fairtrade, is available. Very recommended for the z`Nüni.
the cafe is in the did not bad, however I was not really invited to stay at my visit by the unfriendly operation and the exuberant ambiente.

excellent coffee, as well as croissants and cakes... At one step (back) from the central station...if you want a good espresso go to them, rather than in any other bar of the SBB building... you will not be disappointed!
