Der Ort des Restaurants ist wirklich schön, aber es geht darum. Wir haben am Abend zuvor einen bestimmten Tisch reserviert. Als wir kamen, war es besetzt. Die Dame (der Besitzer) sagte, dass die Party gerade angekommen ist (6 Männer, die Hunger suchen) und sie kann sie nicht bewegen. Sie vergessen nur, den Tisch zu reservieren. Meine Pizza war überhaupt nicht gut. Weder die Tomaten noch die Mozzarella haben Geschmack. Es schmeckte wie... nichts. Nur der Teig war ok. Meine Freunde Lasagne hatten viel zu viel Salz. Wir haben beide das Essen dort gelassen. Ich habe nach einer groben Ruhe gefragt. Dies ist eine 0,5 Liter Mischung aus Bier und Limonade. Der Besitzer sagte, sie habe es nicht, sie hat nur die Kleinen (0,3 L). Ich trinke es immer in der Schweiz (ich bin schweizerisch) und es geschah buchstäblich NIE, dass sie es nicht hatten. Der Besitzer wollte nur mehr Geld daraus machen, zwei von 0,3 L. Sie CANNOT zahlen mit Kreditkarten, die wirklich seltsam für ein Restaurant in einem solchen touristischen Ort ist. Das ist sehr schlechte Geschäftspraxis. Ich empfehle nicht, dort zu essen.
Placed alongside the main road and sitting at one of the outside tables you can for sure enjoy 2 things: the nice view on the mountains and the in 2 m distance passing cars. The menu offers standard italian food. The service is very friendly and really fast. The food unfortunately is more a kind of fast food and for its quality very expensive. Examples: The pizza dough might be frozen dough though for sure not fresh. Mozzarella cheese is low quality. Though as the food was tasty and if you are hungry and in a hurry the food will serve the purpose.
I am a bit surprised with the low ranking of this restaurant, I found the restaurant food excellent and the lady owner extremely friendly, the prices are according to swiss standards which is ok, We were 4 adults and 3 kids and we ordered pizza, lasagna, spaghetti, every dish was excellent and well prepared, the owner lady even entertained the kids letting them watch TV , extremely friendly Only thing they don’t accept Credit cards, i would definitely go there again whenever i am in Meiringen .
We were there for a pizza and we are here not commenting other dishes than pizza... Very poor quality that does not match the Italian standards of a pizzeria, the staff is very nice, however they claim doing the same pizzas for thirty years without complaints ... which is surprising! the pizzas whose dough is frozen and the size corresponds to a pizza for child ... I will rather forget these address
