We stayed here for a night as part of hiking the Tour du Mont Blanc. We had a great stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and english speaking. The room was lovely, one of our favorites of the trip and a welcome sight after a few nights in refuges! We ended up with a private balcony with a spectacular view. The room seemed very new and modern. Extremely clean and the shower was awesome. We had a late lunch when we arrived off the trail and this was very good - lasagna and a salad. Also the Italian craft beer they had was very good! For dinner (starting at 7) we had arranged seating by your room - so some people were only seated in pairs or by themselves at a table. We had a beef + polenta mixture that was very good and filling. In the morning we had breakfast (starting at 7), which was only toast + jam (but typical of refuge hit or miss breakfasts). Compared to the French and Italian sides, yes this hotel is expensive - but that is true for all of Switzerland on this hike. But I found it to be cheaper than accommodations in La Fouly. I am glad we stopped about 40 minutes early to stay here. La Fouly has more amenities if you need it (like ATM, more restaurants, sports stores), but we were so glad to have stayed in the more remote village of Ferret for the night. Also tip that they accept francs and euros... plus credit cards as well. We would recommend staying here during the TMB!
