We stayed on the Bodensee for a couple of nights before business in Zurich. We were surprised by the quality of the restaurants in Ermatingen and this was the best of them. So good, we went back for lunch before leaving on Sunday. The first meal was a business lunch with summer truffles and noodles, then sanderfilet in a very nice preparation followed by pistachio ice cream with figs. Not only an excellent meal, but at 39 SF, the best value of the entire trip. The next meal, though more pricey as a la carte was still very good. Attractive setting inside, but better places for outside eating. Servers were efficient and friendly. Enough english to get by given my rusty german. Parking on site made getting there trivial.
