Came here based on a recommendation from a local. Busy on a Tuesday night tucked in an alley in a shopping center. Had a short wait and were seated. Very welcome staff with a quasi hipster attitude. They have a true wood pizza oven. As other items on the menu seemed excellent , including some fried items, went for the Neapolitan style pizza. Pure excellence. One of the best I’ve had. Prices are reasonable for Lugano prices however food is legit. Staff is quite friendly and attentive. Highly recommend especially if looking for pizza in Lugano.
Wir aßen hier, weil lokale Bewertungen sagten, es sei sicher. Sie haben vier verschiedene Krustenoptionen für ihre Pizza, glutenfrei ist eine von ihnen. Ich bekam eine Pizza und bezahlte die extra 5 CF für die glutenfreie Kruste. Innerhalb einer Stunde hatte ich Kopfschmerzen und Übelkeit, und wir alle wissen, dass die Dinge von dort schlechter werden. Als empfindlich für die Kreuzkontamination würde ich nicht riskieren, in Zukunft hier zu gehen.
The ambient is good but the pizza is simply terrific a true neapolitan pizza. I chose the Maria pizza (sammarzano tomatoes, basil, fior di latte) with the carbon dough with the crust filled with ricotta. It was simply amazing. The dough was really light and the ingredients were absolutely first class. I still have in the nostril the flavor f the fresh basil. If you go for dinner a reservation is strongly advised.
Seems to be the best pizza (napoletana) in town. A bit on the expensive side (more than Zurich), but worth it. Went there a second time. The tomato sauce was juicy and so f*ing tasty. The crust is simply the best. Loving it.
