We walked up here from Bidmi. The walk up was not too strenuous and we enjoyed it. At the top the views are fantastic, you can see over lake Brienz, over to Wetterhorn, Meiringen and down the valley over Innertkirchen towards the Grimsel and Susten passes.We didn't eat at the restaurant, just used the table and chairs to eat our own packed lunch (not sure if that allowed, but no one said anything to us).We then walked down to Magisalp then back down to Bidmi and then the final stretch down Reuti. Overall we walked 9.5 miles in 5hrs 30m.
this was not just an amazing view from the viewpoint, but the whole experience, from the first cable car ride to the first station, then the 3 other gondola rides to the top, the views just got better and better. You can actually see the reichenbach falls from the cable car, and like I said the views just go on impressing..the café at the top is so clean and pleasant to suit in if its a little windy outside but ample outside space too ,
Das Restaurant ist für einen Drink gut geeignet. Bessere Aussicht gibt es kaum und der Service äusserst freundlich. Das Essen ist jedoch mangelhaft. (Die Rösti aussen verbrannt und innen fast noch kalt. Die Gerstensuppe kommt als undefinierte Masse daher.) Preise sind für diese Qualität wirklich zu hoch.
We went up here to see the view and weren't disappointed.Panoramic views all around where you can sit outside or upstairs in the gallery.We got to watch jets fly past, skiers start their runs down the mountain and a para glider set off.Just be sure not to leave too late otherwise you'll need to ski down!
