Alpenblick

We had a nice sporty hike up in the snow to the Hannig and had lunch at the Alpenblick on the way back down. It is quite small but friendly and has a nice view over the village and the other side of the valley....Röstis with eggs was very good, as was the soup, the fries and the apfel strudel with warm vanilla sauce. We got used to have (very) overpriced food in Swiss ski resort stations, so it was a good surprise to see normal prices for much better food than what we've had elsewhere. The place is dog friendly which is nice as many people hike in the area with their dogs and there are even blankets meant for your dog if you stay at the terrace and want to avoid him getting cold on the snow. Don't hesitate!!!

very nice place to stop on the way up the mountain for eating and drinks. stunning place for beautiful landscape. friendly things and excellent eating.
