Auberge de Choully

I don't really like giving negative comments but this was honestly a bad experience. Well it must be said that it was for Mother's Day, so obviously the restaurant was crowded. It was perhaps an exceptional situation. The fact is that the wait was far too long. We waited 30 minutes just to get the menu, 45 minutes to get the drinks and 1h30 to get our dishes. All without any comment or apology from the server. We seriously considered leaving before having our dishes. The meats and desserts were however delicious but the gratins dauphinois were very average. All for a rather salty note. I'm sorry if it was an exceptional day but the experience was frankly bad. I will not come back.

What a terrible place. We got there at 12:30, the 9th May... we waited up to 2:30 and still nothing for the children. On top the people serving do not have any clue on how to treat customers. Not a single attempt to apologise. I really do not understand how places like this can still be open. While writing we are still waiting. The only answer we got after 2 hours is ... la terrasse est plaine... I havé no words ...

A real disaster! 1h30 for the adults to receive 4 salads, 2 hours for the children to receive their hamburgers, more than 2 hours for the seconds to be served to us. The meat that we ordered rare was as hard as a sole. Never again.

Beautiful countryside Swiss bistro! Outside dining atmosphere is fantastic. Tartare and lamb rouelle is particularly good. Although options are limited.

Much too expensive for what it is and above all the waitresses are not at all professional, the wait is too long!!
