Auberge du Bon Laboureur - Chenonceaux

We decided to have a lunch near the chateaux, due to the heavy rain while visiting the gardens, and we chose the restaurant based on the dining room photos, it took us 30 sec.But what a wonderful surprise when we got there. We did not know it was a Michelin starred restaurant, but it is definitely worth it. Everything was perfect: la tarte aux legumes, the lamb, the dessert. Exhaustive wine list, 25 very good vines by the glass, knowledgeable service fron the waiter. Special mention for the lamb, cooked for 72 hours: best lamb ever (paired with a wonderful Chateauneuf du Pape).We are very pleased with the experience and would definitely reccomend.Hope we'll be back, as soon as possible:)

In a beautiful historic area of the Loire Valley. Friendly service, lovely tastes and experiences and a delicious wine topped a wonderful evening after a long bike ride. Sorry for the pictures we took. Most of them were after we had devoured the plates. Each amuse bouche was lovely. Each main plate was a great mix of tastes and a lovely serving size. Recommended highly. Cheers

We enjoyed dinner here during our stay at the hotel. The setting is wonderful and the food was excellent - particular mention to the lamb which was simply perfect.
