we were once again in the sailing club bregenz this afternoon. as we have always been satisfied, we were looking forward to a good lunch. I ordered lamb. on the dish were 4 pieces with bones and a piece of meat without bones. the meat without bone was significantly thicker. I noticed that it was not a lamb, but a piece of pork fillet. I said the operation that this piece is not a lamb but a black thing. the feedback was: this is 1000% lamb, or have they seen a pig with such small bones (very nice, yes I understood that I have basically no idea of eating.) I then pointed out that this piece of meat had no bone at all. Still... head shakes. I had my wife try the meat. immediate feedback: clearly pork. that was seen already when cutting on the fibrosis of the meat, which is distinctly different from lamb. I asked the service to show the chef the meat and to try it. feedback after 5 minutes with the bill in the hand. that was 100% lamb, you can't do anything.(so at the price, so I understood that; that was not my intention, however, with it would have been completely enough if one had apologized for this.) as an experienced hobby cook, I trust a distinction between lamb and pig quite too and also my wife (please.!) it is not dramatic if a piece of pigeon was lost on my teller. but the ignorance of the coch and the service with regard to my complaint was underground. if the chef had taken care of the meat and cost, he would have realized that a bit of skill has happened. otherwise he would have missed the call as a chef. thus remains an unharmed ignore of a legitimate complaint connected with a completely unprofessional feedback to the guests. I don't want to assume that the piece of pork was not randomly on my teller, then there would be a difference between the menu and the food served...How do you call it? Conclusion: 2 regular customers lost - never again sailclub!
for the summer, an absolute secret tip is the restaurant of the bregenzer seegelclub, right at the sailing harbour and not far from the festive house bregenz, out of town, located. best place to book. eat superlecker, great card, good price performance ratio.
pragmatic service. in spite of much operation concentrated on the summer weekend. eat (surf and turf, as well as gr. salat plate) for me surprising wise hot, qualitatiw very well with good drink selection. Looking forward to 2017.
were here for dinner. eating was very good, the menu was a bit manageable. qualitatiw everything in order. the location is great, there is real holiday mood!
