Zufälliger Stopp für ein Abendessen während einer Geschäftsreise. Wir haben hier angehalten und beschlossen, zwei primi zu bestellen: Gnocchi della casa allo zola e noci und Risotto Brocco e Posta (con radicchio brasato e zola su petali di crudo della Mesolcina). Beide Mahlzeiten waren sehr gut (auch wenn ich eine Vorliebe für das Risotto hatte, was erstaunlich war)! This hotel gave us a lot of feelings and discussions. Is it retro, or is it just old and sad? We felt both. The same with the village, kind of cute and nice but at the same time empty and sad. It’s had it’s glory days, but not anymore. The hotel though had it’s charm and we enjoyed our stay. Our children was very wowed by the green bathroom. Ok breakfast, bread and yoghurt. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. In the end though, it felt too expensive for what you get.

I was driving and decided to stop there for lunch. The special of the day was pork meat with French fries for 25 Swiss Francs. There is normally a salad or a soup in many restaurants in Switzerland before the special of the day but there it was not the case. I expected some vegetables but there was none. Only the meat and the fries. For the price paid, you could expect far more.
