on Saturday evening with my parents to my birthday and have to say that it was great. my father is not as good as he used to, and the host, deputy manager, was most helpful to arrange a table near the carvery, but not so close to being hot for dad. I had a big carvery and was not disappointed at all. dad gave a regular his best effort, but was defeated, but the waiter offered to stack it on him to later take away what was enthusiastic about dad. After a short break we managed to find some space for ice and were equally satisfied with it. my first experience of the broxden farm and will certainly be back, all in a great meal.
Really easy to access being beside the broxden round about as it is just off the dual carriageway. We got seated without any fuss and the gentleman on the front desk was very polite and pleasant. Being a green king pub you know the food is going to be up to standard. I had the mixed grill and my son had chicken nuggets. The mixed grill was tasty although there was no chicken which is unusual for green king. Instead it had pork. I did initially want fish and chips but they did not have any fish available.
today for lunch 1. service was fast and friendly. there were 4 of us and we ordered yorkshire packs and mix n game, all tasty and looked fabulous! steak cooked as we asked. were decent. very satisfied and sooo full when we're done. I also have cake to take with them, as they looked too good, not to try! recommended!
I love going to go here the food is great I love the carvery kids love going very friendly personal great place just to relax and enjoy their meal also while the kids in the child area play my new favorite restaurant not going where else
