We visited Consum today. Even if it is a nice place environment, I could say that I was disappointed hygiene practices during food preparation. No gloves. They prepare the cheese plate without washing their hands before. They touch tables, money and they shake hands with clients preparing food without cleaning their hands. They could be more careful specially during this period.
Consum is my absolute favourite place in Basel. The staff is what rounds up the experience. Nice cocktails, attention to details and to customers Patrick was especially friendly and a great host.
Best place to be in the city. Nice wine selection and friendly services. Place to be for apero, after work and drinks
Local wines and helpful friendly advice from the staff. Wines recommended were good. Would definitely return.
