Creekwood Grill

Went in unannounced to celebrate our football wins for the kids. It was around lunch time. There were about 15 kids and their parents. They managed to set up 2 big tables for us in a jiffy!The menu was great, we had a burger, Chipotle black bean burger for one who doesn’t eat meat and the picky eater kid loved his Patty melt! They have variety of cheeses and sides.There’s a small arcade area for the kids to burn your money and a nice playground outside. Our little football team had a blast! What a way/place to celebrate the wins. Rachel (Rachael? is our server and she’s AMAZING! Our big group did separate checks and kids sat at another table but she managed to get all of us taken care of efficiently. She’s attentive, always smiling and getting our drinks and food out fast. We really appreciate her! Great service.Vegetarian options: It’s not common to have veggie burger option that actually tasted really good. Their Texas Heat black bean patty was the bomb.

The playground was nice. I don’t know how the food or drinks are, because we waited at our table for 25 minutes and were never even acknowledged by the wait staff. Got up and left.Edit we gave it another shot and this was a world of difference better! The wait staff seemed like a team effort and everyone was helping out. I could tell Christian was newer, but he still did a great job. We all left full and still took home leftovers. I especially liked the dry rub bbq wings, they were wood smoked and came out piping hot. I enjoyed the beers but my wife’s favorite drink of the night was the mango tango. I think our kids may have made a few new friends at the playground as well. Thanks to Brian for inviting us back!

Creekwood is one of our family favorite local spots. We love just about everything but their chicken fried steak. It is dry, tough, and not very appetizing. Usually, everything we order is top notch, but that dish could use some help. Service is usually pretty good, and environment is also usually pretty nice. We feel they are a bit overpriced, and wish they would not expect or request a tip for pickup orders, as a tip is meant to show appreciation for drivers, waiters and waitresses when they do a good job… not just an added “tax”, especially when I’m driving to pick up my own order and you are simply handing me my bag. For sure one of the better places around though ?
