Dana Eating House

I came here with my family for the $65pp “Köche Feed Me” option and was looking forward to the experience. Instead, I came out, underfed and weakened with all the offers. Meals were even rather sad, but given what we paid for the night, it was terrible. The first offer was a single cracker with blows. Nothing special. You can’t expect much for an “Amuse Bouche”, but I would rather not have put it in my mouth. The duck was a single plate of fried radish cake, which was slurried in chili oil, and a (single) leaf salad with some pieces of solid food. Not much of an upgrade from the Amuse Bouche taste, still in its size. Finally the main course. Her obvious “famous curry” was excessively oily and creamy without differentiating aromas that lacked the vegetable selection inside. The grinding time was paired with a basic tong. I expected another meal of varieties after this due to the mere amount that served each course, but the waitress came out and asked if we wanted to buy a dessert. I would understand if they were quality versus quantity, but I can make better food at home. Maybe I just came on a bad day. Note: I have been using their menu since, and they have new offers such as Jackfruit beans, rice cake, crispy eggplant, a roasted sweet potato dish, numerous salads and sticky mango rice trying to try again, but my previous experience does not tempt me to go back. . Came here for dinner based on the reviews. Love the concept of supporting local businesses and sustainability. The room is welcoming and staff friendly attentive. All cocktails are vegan, the wines are not marked, so I chose a Dana spray that was delicious. The menu clearly identifies the vegan items or the vegan options. The dumplings were really nice and the Rendang Curry also delicious. Half is a lot for a person. Updated by previous rating on 2022-09-23

Eating is so efficient delish staff are so beautiful. It was a totally delightful experience. For $50 feeds me choice, had many different diet requirements and staff were incredibly competent and adept with catering for us. Eating is really amazing. Would be ideal for special occasions or date night.

a series of fully vegan options, the dumplings and tofu starters were amazing, and the vegan rendang was a hands down winner. beautiful staff, great mood. totally recommended.
