13 of us went for a Friday night for a social work dinner. We were seated upstairs. Service was fantastic, very attentive and friendly. We shared 3 garlic and cheese pizzas for starters (omg GARLIC, but very moreish), - definitely order entree size mains if you're not a big eater. We ordered a variety of pizzas, calzones and pastas, and everyone enjoyed what they had. I had the fettuccine carbonara, which was super rich and creamy, with smoked bacon and the perfect amount of black pepper for me, although other people might enjoy the offer of fresh cracked pepper brought around by the waitstaff.Corkage is $4 a bottle (byo wine only, there's a good selection of beer, soft drinks and wines at the bar as well, I had a 42° South Sav Blanc at $9/glass).Would definitely go back and recommend to friends.
The Paesano crew went out of their way to give us a table when we made a late reservation for our birthday dinner.The food and service were both super impressive. Go for the seafood dishes to make the most of some of Hobart's sensational fresh produce.Brilliant food and great family atmosphere in Hobart's 'burbs. Cannot wait to go back.
I really enjoy a good seafood pizza and I have to say that in my opinion Paesano make the best!!!!!My companions also really enjoyed their meals.It had been some time since we visited this restaurant and very happy to report that nothing has changed the standard is as high as it always was - keep up the great work.
The pizza is absolutely delicious, my son assures me the carbonara is the best and the desserts were amazing. We were extremely impressed by this little gem of a restaurant hidden away in West Hobart. We especially enjoyed chatting with the very friendly owners after our meal. Thank you for a memorable night.
