Der Waldhof - Familie Blanka

Ich mag Gasthäuser mit Charme, Flair und ihrem ganz persönlichen Charakter! Der Waldhof zählt für mich definitiv dazu. Fast versteckt oberhalb der Straße und des großen Gästeparkplatzes, mitten im Wald, liegt dieser wunderschöne Platz. Vom Parkplatz aus kann man den kurzen Weg hinauf über ziemlich steile Stufen gehen oder man nimmt rechts davon die kleine Straße, die ebenfalls in zwei, drei Minuten zum Gasthaus führt. Vor dem gepflegten Gasthaus im Jagdhausstil ist ein sehr großer und idyllischer Gastgarten mit Bäumen, die auch im Sommer genügend Schatten spenden. Zusätzlich gibt es Sonnenschirme. Wir hatten an dem Samstag unseren Tisch reserviert, was ich auch anraten würde. Der Waldhof scheint sehr beliebt zu sein, denn kein einziger Tisch im Gastgarten war nach kurzer Zeit unbesetzt. Die Begrüßung war sehr freundlich, die Bedienung professionell, schnell, charmant, das Essen ausgezeichnet, die Portionen groß, also ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Eigentlich hatten wir geplant, zum Kuchen/Torte und Kaffee woanders hinzufahren. Die Wohlfühlstimmung im Waldhof hat uns allerdings überzeugt zu bleiben. Wir haben uns sehr, sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen sicher wieder!

last Sunday we went there, as my friend told me, it was a real jagd meat place and as a carnival I was so excited to enjoy their deliciousness! as I ordered my juicy pork chops as it was specified on the menu. The restaurant was not so packed, but the service was completely slow. our food came 1 minute later than other guests who came 30 minutes to us. amazing, right?! I mean, what kind of label and management have they applied? it was my juicy black apron as it was mentioned on the menu. voila, they served me very dry and boiled pork chops! I thought I would give them 1 star out of 5 but then I realized that it was in the village and they did not know about eating, service and management. Therefore I have them 3 out of 5, I should be more tolerance and understanding. Seriously, for the price so that we can get much better food and service somewhere else. they should of course visit the lake. the restaurant is always full, but you eat is fresh and incredible! they only have one waiter outside and this guy is very friendly, helpful, attentive and super fast! the longing and the price are worth everything!

I eat there regularly and tried almost every dish from the menu, and everything was great. always. it is nice to sit outside in the summer garden and sit comfortably in winter. the staff is super fast and friendly! when I go. to eat, I'm going to the forestyard!

We have found this place by chance. The atmosphere is great. Typical Austrian food with an edge. Friendly service. we recommend the ribs. We will come again to sit in the beautiful garden. It is a must if you are in this area.

the restaurant is located in the Wiener forest. it offers excellent traditional cuisine. the portions are huge!
