Gasthof Alte Post

I was hungry and I wanted to it something Bavarian and local. The Gasthof Alte Post is an excellent place to visit and eat. Although there is a little place at the tables it is really worth going. The place looks very nice, cosy with...the superb atmosphere. The staff is easygoing and helpful. There is no need to wait long for the table, if the table is half empty the staff will seat you with the other people, which is also nice. The service is also very fast. The food is tasty and very well looking. I would say the real taste of the area.

I arrived quite late from Munich and the staff were VERY welcoming and despite the restaurant closing soon, I was given a menu to get a meal which was really good and very tasty thus setting me up for a sleep. A good wholesome breakfast...really set me up for the day and for me it was the highlight of my European travels this time around. Excellent!!

What a lovely restaurant! Nice atmosphere, white table cloths, flowers, friendly service and a great menu. My wife was able to get good gluten free chicken,and salad and my Lake Constance trout was delicious! The German potato salad is not to be missed. Great place...to eat while exploring lovely Lindau! Hope we make it back some day!

I really could recommend this restaurant for a nice dinner for a family or a couple! Very cozy interior, not crowded, without loud music. Food was very fresh and delicious! Big portions, not high prices. Personal very friendly. Local wine we liked! Location is nearly...the Bodensee. Next time will go here again!

Good local food and beer, despite it being a busy Saturday night they found a space for us. We were aloud to bring our dog in which was great. Swift friendly service.
