The oysters are great but service, not so much. My fiancée and I wanted to go grab some oyster and seafood for an early dinner and decided on Gringos. When we arrived, we were told to sit wherever we liked, which was great! Once seated, a sever came over and gave us menus, then another server came over to get our order, then another server brought our appetizers, and when we asked the third server to take our main course order they informed us that they were not our server. We had a total of 4 servers and no service when we needed it. I had to go to the bar to order drinks twice, and then had to grab another server, who we had not dealt with before, to pay our bill. The food is what keeps this review at 3 stars!! The raw oysters and escargot were delicious, you must dip the bread in the escargot juice!! We also sampled the baked oysters and mussels in white sauce, both delicious and came with the hot bread!! For our main courses, we decided on the Fish and chips and Lobster Roll. The main courses were nothing out of this world but both good. As far as ambiance goes, this has a typical sports bar that serves food vibe. Just be careful entering the men's restroom, there is a bucket as soon as you walk in to catch the leaking roof. Bottom line, if you want a good meal with below par service for about $125 per person, this is your place!
