Grotto Antico - Tisch reservieren

I usd to go there sometimes with clients as well as with friends a long time a go, there was a Japanese as chef named Mr. Saito, therefore I was introduced this restaurant. Now, it has been changed a little, but the food is still...very good. I invited my son for the birthday lunch there as he knows the restaurant well as we all from Lugano, though the restaurant is not in Lugano city. We came over from Winterthur for my son’s birthday One day trip and enjoyed the lunch as well as his company. The restaurant is not cheep, but they really give you very good food for the price, please try it when you are in Ticino sometimes, OK ?

we had some venison ragù pasta (amazing! and the deep fried cheese as starters (good , followed by the truffle gnocchi (also amazing! and the pata negra pluma (really good . while the location is nice and the food was really good, it was the team that...stood out. three waiters, all of them super friendly and knowledgeable. will definitely come back!

Starting with the arrival, the owner welcomed us very warm even though we were too early. The service was professional and the food was just..... fantastic! The only downside were the mosquitos but the guys were also prepared to that with a spray. So it's...really worth a visit

Grotto Antico in Bioggio is just off the main road and easy to find with GPS. A lovely old building, typical cosy Ticino restaurant, good food, and service. Although they have a menu list, the chef will tell you what he has on the menu....Good local wines and fair prices.

The place is very attractive, its on the hill, You can see around. The food was prepared prefectly. The lobster white mushrums trufels ... wow, very good!
