Hotel Alpbach - Tisch reservieren

We visited this restaurant on the last night of our 2-week holiday, and will most definitely go there again. The decor is wonderfully Swiss, as was the waitress, although she spoke good English. The food was of absolute high quality and tasted wonderful. I had the lemongrass soup with a small chicken skewer and mango chutney, which really knocked my socks off. My daughter loves Zürcher geschnetzeltes so of course ordered that, and wasn't disappointed. My husband had beef strips in a red Thai curry sauce with fluffy rice, and my friend had a chicken salad. I had Zanderfilet with mashed potatoes, braised fennel and steamed broccoli and it was perfect. We all enjoyed our meal thoroughly. Absolutely first class in all respects, well done!

Wir haben unser gesamtes Frühstück und Abendessen hier eingenommen, da es in unserem Reisepaket enthalten war. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich, lediglich ein sehr leichtes Mittagessen, etwas Obst und Kaffee waren nötig. Zum Abendessen gab es jeden Abend ein anderes 3-Gänge-Menü, an manchen Abenden war es schwierig, den Nachtisch aufzuessen!

We spent two nights at the Alpbach Hotel and had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant each day. The menu gave us a taste of Swiss culture and was very nicely prepared. The staff are outstanding. Andrea was full of fun and made our stay very memorable. I wish we were there right now.

Traditional hotel in the centre of town. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was very good. Be warned, the nearby church bells ring all night every quarter hour, so if you are a light sleeper take ear plugs.

Excellent food, reasonable prices, very good service, nice and pleasant atmosphere. We returned there every night during our stay in Meiringen.
