Huon Hill Tavern Wodonga

Lovely venue. Almost brand spanking new. Nice spot for a function or casual lunch. Next door to quest appartments. There is a handy sky bridge linking the quest with Huon hill. Food is nice but the menu is slightly over priced. In my opinion the venue is confused if it should price itself as a pub grub or fine dinning. But besides that a great venue for large or small functions both of which I have attended here. Please be aware that you need to pre book for this venue for dinner.

We were staying at Quest for the weekend. After three and a half hours of driving, we didn't want to go far for dinner, so we decided to eat here since it is literally connected to the hotel. Very glad we did, we had the fish and chips, chicken parma, gnocchi with lamb ragu. The food was quick and really tasty, staff friendly.

My family and I were here for a birthday dinner and were impressed by the great service, menu choice and quality and quantity of our the meals. Our service attendant Isobel was helpful and offered suggestions and recommendations on both the food and wine menu. My mother had a lovely night out for her birthday.

Sunday evening dinner with a bunch of colleagues which didn't phase out the staff at all and the food was very good all round. My scotch fillet was cooked as I like it with great veg sides. Good beer and wine selection, I was impressed to see Hoegarten on tap.

Went for a birthday and had delish food, food was a bit on the large side though. But overall a good meals ,would recommend to anyone.
