Jalon - Tisch reservieren

My husband and I like to eat here as regularly as we can. Unfortunately it has not been so regular lately but we recently had a chance to visit and we were not disappointed. There are now new items on the menu of which the ones we tasted are a great addition. I had the goats cheese starter and my husband the ducks liver, both of which were exceptionally tasty. I opted for the saltimbocca and my husband the steak in worronoff sauce again both of which we thoroughly enjoyed. The house white and red wine are decent . The only negative we had was that rice was served with our main meal whereas potatoes would have been a better option and we did not see if there was a choice on the menu.But now we know we can ask for potatoes or chips (as we saw a table have a plate full) next time we visit.

Just had a brief weekend in Jalon and were given the name of Del Hierro as somewhere to definitely try out and so glad were were. My wife's Goat's Cheese Salad (big enough for a main in to own right for many), and my Duck Liver in Calvados were both just scrumptious, and the Entrecôte on a hot stone was huge, rare (but continued cooking on the stone) and melt-in-your-mouth. If I remember rightly, they've got 5 tables for 4 and 3 for 2 people and the chef managed all the covers with just the one assistant and the owner/waiter on what was a full Saturday evening. Really friendly, cozy, great food and local wines. Had to waddle back to the B&B. Very highly recommended.

We were 2 couples and decided to eat close by our house in Jalon. The restaurant is small and cozy with a nice Spanish touch. The service was very good and the quality of the food really surprised us. Warm bread was served followed by our starters of very good quality. The main course for us was a piece of high quality meat on a hot stone, which seems to be their speciality. Price wise very affordable and a very high value for money rating. I can recommend this restaurant to everyone that want very good food for a very reasonable price. They even have a few tables outside but I like the inside atmosphere much more.

We have visited this restaurant on many occasions and have to say it is one of our favourites. Juan the owner is such a wonderful host. The food and surroundings are second to none. We will return very soon

Lovely evening. The menu of the day was excellent value. Food delicious. Service ...very pleasant waiter and fast. Highly recommended.
