La Cucina - Tisch reservieren

France is awash with pizza places, many of them average. La Cucina does pizzas too (and they are probably good) but what makes this place special are the other Italian dishes and the enthusiasm of the staff for their customers. They actually seem thrilled that you have chosen their restaurant - by the end of the meal one is almost on kissing terms with most of them and the patron, having been told that there two Britons in the dining room came out of the kitchen to greet us - probably doesn't go down well with Parisians but we loved it. French cuisine is rightly lauded but now and then you fancy a change and good Italian is perfect. We shared our two starters - roasted vegetables as cold dish and Italian cold meats - an ideal combination. Our main courses were lasagne (good) and risotto with mushrooms and pistachios (generous helping).Make no mistake, good here (and the excellent rating) is not for haute cuisine but honest tasty food at a very reasonable price. A three course lunch is 15€ (£11 today).and as we didn't have room for the dessert the cost of our coffees was knocked off the bill. The decor is naff but who cares!

A bright, and airy, no nonsense restaurant, just off the beaten track. We went on the strength of other reviews here. And we were not disappointed! The chef is italian who, like in italy, comes to your table himself to check all is ok. The ambiance is very much italian, and everyone seems to know each other. But we were still made to feel very welcome, and not like outsiders. The waitress is in fact the italian chef's wife. And she was lovely and very helpful. A nice place if you want to avoid typical, rip off, touristy places full of tourists. And the food is delicious too (the pizza was like in italy.) We saw the lady on the table next to us the next day - she was the owner of another café in the town. definately a good sign!

This restaurant is deservedly popular and it is essential to book. We had a very simple meal taking the basic menu for €15. We Chose grilled vegetables followed by Simon Fagottini. Unfortunately, the seafood risotto was no longer available. Excellent desserts and a little white wine were very cheap for the outstanding quality of the cooking. The place is run by the owner/cook Who hails from Trani and his wife. How they do so much, so well is one of life's mysteries

This restaurant is fantastic! We had a great meal with our two young kids and the staff were welcoming, attentive, timely and relaxed. The food was excellent. The pasta was of a very high standard (homemade).This is the type of restaurant you wish was your local but it certainly makes you enjoy your holiday.

We are here after seeing reviews from tripadvisor. Everything is true. The food is good and the service is fabulous. Recommended for family travelers looking for tasty Italian.
