This large restaurant is located at the base of Le Monetier les Bains not far from the lifts. It has self serve and table service sections indoors and there is also a cabin outside on the terrace where you can get hot snacks in the form of paninis. We tried the table service inside on one of our visits and it was very good. Pleasant staff and good food. I had their Prawn risotto which had around four or five whole fresh king prawns and whilst I appreciate that by the time these are shelled there is not a huge amount of flesh, they were very tasty. The risotto was nicely flavoured too. A few of us shared a carafe of house white wine which was refreshing. Everyone seemed satisfied with what they chose to eat and drink and we were €26 per person for the bill we had a varied choice so it's difficult to itemize. On another occasion we just ordered paninis from the cabin outside and sat on the large terrace. The guy making them was a bit of a character, singing along to his radio and seemed happy at his work. The paninis were tasty too, along with a shared portion of pommes frites (it's a large portion). Paninis and chips were around €6 each from memory. Toilets didn't appear to be large enough for the amount of customers however on the occasion I used them there was no queue. Overall a few different options for eating and we were satisfied on each occasion.

It was hard to get a seat at 1.45pm and the place was heaving. But once you have commandered a table you can then queue up for the self service which takes about 20 minutes. That is the downside but to be expected on an eaterie on the slopes. Once we had the food it was delicious. Plenty of choices and all freshly made. Not badly priced either but again, 14 Euros for an omlette is OK on the slopes. I wouldnt pay that in town. Great selection of desserts and salads too.

At the base of the slope there is a lot going on in this area. Plenty of inside and outside tables that offer table service. Big hearty meals are available or just snacks. Service is very friendly and it is the perfect place to relax after making it down the slope!

Best choices were the dishes of the day served in huge portions with a choice of veg and potatoes. Children's meals also pretty good. Salads are a bit overpriced for what you get would be nice if they had a salad bar. Coffee rather expensive. Service friendly.
