At first seemed comfortable and friendly - waited a long time to place the order - no chance of ordering an 'apero' whilst selecting the meal. My partner ordered 'avocado prawns' to start - what arrived was a creamy avocado mousse with a couple of prawns chopped in and one on top (ghastly). We both ordered mussels and chips which when served the mussels were cold and promptly returned - chips left to then go cold - no apology.Didn't bother with a dessert - just paid and left -won't go there again!
Plenty of choice along the Quai but impressed that tables were cleared quickly after service unlike many along this promenade. Not much of a reason but in the event it proved to be a good sign as we had very good food and service at a reasonable price and the position was great for people watching. 10 minutes from the car ferry so a good place to eat before embarking especially as food on board is decidedly average.
Very nice place to eat, lovely interior and excellent location. There is a lot of choice on the menu but not for veggies or vegans unfortunately. The veggy burger was good but not excellent, I would have liked some more options.
Fab food and drinks and great prices. Sat outside and blankets are provided to keep the chill away. The food was hot and fresh and tasty. Staff were helpful and friendly and service was quick. Would eat here again.
