Le Haute Seve - Tisch reservieren

We recently stayed in Fougeres and on a wet, cold night, having been turned away from a couple of restaurants because we had two dogs, we were given a warm welcome by the staff of Le Haut Seve. It turned out to be a memorable...evening super food, wonderful service, nice surroundings, good value. The meal at Le Haute Seve was the best meal I ate in France Michelin star restaurants included in the three months I was resident there. Every course was exquisite. Most beautiful 'dorade ' I 've ever tasted; the same for the creme brulee. outstanding. highly recommended.

This place was so overpriced and disappointing. Usually on the menu of the day there is a choice, but not here and we will, I do not want to write negatively about a place. But if you offer bottle water as part of the menu... a little joke. Cafes where workers go offer a carafe of wine or apple wine with their menu and the food is tastier and half the price.

We stopped off in Fougeres on our way back up to Cherbourg. Dropped in for a quick lunch. The menu had plenty of pricey options but we just opted for a main course each with a beer. The food was delicious and the staff were...friendly not pushing us to choose wine or further courses. We'd certainly stop there again.

Went for the 5 course dinner (45€ which was quite good. Foie Gras, filet de bar (Spicy , roasted duck, warm camembert and apple pie. The dessert was almost too much. In general high quality and good food. Would go there again.

Exceptional food quality and presentation, great service, great value at the price. This is a hidden gem as high quality food at value prices.
