Not your tipical swimming pool restaurant, it opens before the the pool opens for the season and closes again in December. The food is very good as well as the service, to be fair when you have the hot sunny day you might have to wait a bit longer but then again it's summer relax and enjoy the day and go and have a quick swim...They have a very nice selection of local wines! And yes the Swiss do make wine and the region around Orbe (Nord Vaudois )has some very good wines the quality has really improved in the last few years.Back to the restaurant.. In the summer months you need to reserve if you want a table if the weather is night, they often organise theme evening reservation are a must. Out of season not so much of a problem.Lots of parking nearby except on sunny days, evenings no problem.Can only recommend the restaurant, be it for a couple, a group and even with children a nice place to go.

Wir baten um 3 Tassen Eis. Die Kellnerin sagte uns, dass es nicht möglich sei, dass zu viele Leute da seien, also gingen wir enttäuscht mit unserer kleinen Tochter unter Tränen. Es waren drei Kunden im Zimmer und sechs auf der Terrasse. Ungefähr zehn Kunden standen Schlange, um etwas zum Mitnehmen zu bekommen ... 1 Kellnerin und ein Koch, obwohl es 40 °C hatte und der Pool voll war! Auf der Terrasse waren die Sonnenschirme bei praller Sonne geschlossen... erbärmlich für ein städtisches Schwimmbad! Service: Dine in Essensart: Andere Speisen: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphäre: 1

I love this place ! You can sit outside and because it's by the pool, you feel like on holiday. It's the best terrace in Orbe as it's quiet and sunny till late. The tartare is very tasty and nicely prepared but so is the burger, the shrimps and the pasta dishes. They have a good selection of desserts and cocktails. The service is very good and friendly. Watch out if you go at lunch time. They have a daily menu, very good also, but the place gets extremely busy so not good if you're short for time. Note that they are staying opened till mid December.

Es fällt mir schwer, eine Bewertung abzugeben. Das Essen ist sehr gut, allerdings dauert der Service sehr, sehr lange (30 Minuten vor dem Servieren). Man kann der Kellnerin keinen Vorwurf machen, aber es ist unmöglich, die Einzige zu sein, die sich um die Wünsche der Gäste am Pool und auf der Terrasse kümmert. Schade, es gibt echtes Potenzial und die Küche ist gut. Und schade, dass es nicht vor 14:30 Uhr Pommes gibt... Essen: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphäre: 3

One of the few places in the area where you can sit outside and enjoy the evening sunshine. There's a large car park free of charge. The beef tartare is tasty and well presented. Nice cocktails too.The staff is friendly and helpful. A nice place for a summer's evening
