We just came back from the restaurant and I am so compelled to leave a pleasant review of the restaurant but much more on the waiter Samuel. I hope the owners of the restaurant see this review. Today the place was crowded and Samuel was attending all the tables by himself, taking the orders, delivering the take away pick up food, attending the bar, bringing the food, making the drinks, welcoming the customers. I don t know how he managed but everything was with speed and with a smile. He is so committed to give a great impression on the customers, he was working non-stop!!!! There was another staff member who didn't help him at all!!! I know how difficult is to find and retain great talent, so I hope Pier 34 do their part and recognize him. As you can see, i am not commenting on the food, because the service was all in this case. BTW the food is awesome, we tried the Picanha meat cut, totally recommend, the burgers are awesome, this is the 3rd time i come to this restaurant travelling from abroad. So 7 stars to Samule and usual 5 stars to the chef!!
Sat there for 20 minutes and no one came to serve us. Many people arrived after and were served. Decided to leave and was told by staff to be patient. This is a common theme in St.Moritz customer service doesn’t exit. Don’t go here or better still don’t go to St.Moritz there’s nothing there apart from hotels, expensive hotels and even more expensive hotels. Extremely expensive restaurants and I know people will say that’s what you expect and that’s why I’m saying don’t go
Very slow service. All we wanted was a quick coffee before catching a train an hour later. It took nearly 15 minutes to place an order and after a further 25 minutes the drinks had still not come. Had to leave without having a drink. Very disappointed apparently there were still 2 more orders before ours not sure why it takes over half an hour to make 2 small drinks…..
Our big group dined here. Place of course was packed. Wait staff handled it well . Had nice tomato soup , chicken schnitzel with fries , and berry yoghurt. The restaurant also offered fine ambiance with a view of the lake in St Moritz.
