Pizzeria Bäumle

We wanted to go out to eat on the spur of the moment and drove around to find any place that still had table on a Friday night after 8. After a bit of searching in tripadvisor we found this place and we called on the way to find out if it was worth the 6KM trip. Lucky for us they did have free tables! The place is easy to find just off the state highway to Bregenz and street parking can be found easily. The place is not that big, but it was full!. The waiters were friendly, but our order was kinda mixed up. Firstly, our food was delayed while other tables were served although we had placed orders earlier. Secondly when the food did arrive, pasta was under cooked and the mushrooms seemed to have gone bad! It was sufficiently off putting, that we had to mention it to the waitress. They were very professional about it and had it replaced. At the end they offered us a drink on the house. It was a bit of downer which was result of poor planning and some bad luck in the kitchen. However the silver lining was the people were very friendly and professional about the drawbacks.

We arrived on a Saturday night. It was the 1 year anniversary and the place was packed. There was music and the atmosphere was very festive. We had our 3 young boys with us and the pizzas were perfect, bit disappointed with the tiramisu but ice cream bar was great.

Einfach lecker! Klein aber fein Restaurant, freundliche Bedienung, faire Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

Go here if you like good food and get really nice service from the kindest staff. Worth some extra kilometers from the main road.
