Pizzeria Henri IV

We called into this restaurant after reading the TripAdvisor reviews and we had a really enjoyable meal. We chose to sit inside, though the harbour location is great if you want to take in the port's activities and enjoy the sunshine. Our pizzas were amazing, with lovely soft dough and a great taste. The crêpes were enjoyable too and the English-speaking waitress made us café crèmes with fresh milk when we explained that we wanted coffees like the cappuccinos we have at home and these were really good. In terms of the restaurant experience, the decor and the chilled contemporary English music helped to make this a pleasant experience and the speed of the service was good. We'd definitely go back again.

The place was packed with most of the folks on our tour. We all arrived at different times, must have been dawn to it by the ambience and prices. The location is great, right off the marina/harbour.We had the mussels and fries, kir, beer and coffee. Service was fast and friendly. The food was good, loved the paper thin cured ham appetizer. I saw absolutely heavenly calzones, pizzas and desserts there too. iPad a hard time deciding which tiramisu to order, the cafe or the strawberry. Chose the cafe, wasn't disappointed but other diners raved about the fresh strawberries in the other tiramisu. Oh well, next time!

Stopped in here because many of the other restaurants at the time were closed. English-speaking staff and English menus made it easy to order. Service was relatively fast and friendly, though we never had the same server; always changing.The pizza came quickly, and was served on a flatbread, rather than a baked crust. Although tasty enough, it wasn't a "wow" kind of meal. We did, however, enjoy the patio seating and the view of the inner harbour.

Whilst waiting for our ferry crossing back to the UK, went to the dock area of Dieppe, over the bridge and had a couple of nice pizzas and a beer in Pizzeria Henri IV. Very convenient and hospitable. Had TVs on showing sport, the Euros were on, it was the night England got knocked out so kind of wished I had a hire car rather than mine with UK plates to save our embarrassment!

Waiting for the night crossing from Dieppe we ventured upon this place. A little gem in the middle of a port town. Food was outstanding - can recommend the pizza and pasta. Very friendly staff that speak fluent English and work very hard to make the experience a positive one.
