On entering there is an atmosphere of promise. Pink 50's decor and a hum of busyness. Walked past the pizza station to see each pizza piled high with toppings, and more being added. But we had gone for a pasta hit. Disappointing really. Total lack of flavour on both the alla panna and vegetarian penne. Vegetables were from the pizza bar but totally uncooked and limited - capsicum, raw onion, mushroom. The other a little better but still uncooked additives to the pasta - pizza ham and mushroom. Napoletana sauce was just pizza base sauce. Had to add a great deal of salt and cheese for flavour. I saw that they actually had real Tartuffe Icecream, something so hard to find these days as scoop gelati takes over. I asked if it would be possible to have a shot of espresso poured over it as this is truly the most delicious dessert ever. Unfortunately the machine was broken (and had been for some time) and no instant coffee either (THANK YOU GOD FOR THAT BLESSING). However the Tartuffe was a dream on the tongue. Would give the pizzas a go at another time as they really did look good and were flying out the door in huge numbers.
