It really was terrible. I have only ever written good reviews and this is the first time I have eaten really really badly at a restaurant!! I had the gamberetti salad with quinoa, mango. It was a joke on a plate of water with no...taste and 5 small prawns!!! The waitress said there should have been 10 prawns! But it wasn’t the quantity it was really the quality... there was no quality! The fish risotto was as bad. Soaked in lemon and water! What a joke. When you can cook far better at home it’s a real disappointment to go out at eat rubbish that came to 110chf! Ok the wine, water, bread was fine. But never again the Federale! She did offer us a coffee and limoncello but we were hungry so we just paid charged full price and left. Not worth it if you want to eat out!

I definitely recommend this place. The food is great (we had lasagne) and service is amazing! They speak Italian, German, English, they are so nice, dont rush you or anything. It was such a nice surprise to find this restaurant.
Arrived tired from long walk and got friendly welcome and nice grilled vegetables starter despite kitchen not yet being open. Then a great porcini risotto and lovely local merlot, white and red
