Located next to its prominent neighbour Hôtel de l 'Ours it would be a mistake to overlook this nice little restaurant. I enjoyed a very good dinner, in the cozy and intimate dining room. Staff can 't be more limited: the friendly chef works in the kitchen, while his wife performed an efficient service! Both were very attentive to the guests ' needs much appreciated. The menu is short and Swiss traditional, with focus on local fish (the house prouds itself on pike) and seasonal produce. As starter I chose the asparagus with wild garlic vinaigrette surprisingly served warm, but tasty nonetheless. As main course I had one of the house specialties: poached pike in a white wine sauce. Truly delicious and generous portion: the fish was perfect. As dessert the tasty tiramisu rounded up the good meal. In high price Switzerland the bill remained enjoyably moderate, in particular for dinner time: CHF84 for the whole meal. Definitely a nice address to remember.
Bei einem Aufenthalt im Murtenseegebiet sollten Sie sich dieses freundliche Restaurant mit hervorragender Fischküche nicht entgehen lassen. Aber nicht nur der Fisch, auch frische Salate oder andere Geflügel- oder Fleischgerichte, hausgemachte Saucen und originell servierte Beilagen sowie eine schöne Auswahl an lokalen und anderen Qualitätsweinen machen Ihr Erlebnis unvergesslich. Durch mehrere Besuche im letzten Jahr bestätigt und wirklich empfohlen.
If you are looking for the nice place to eat in the Vully region that is a little pearl hidden in Sugiez. Very well run by Marcel- who makes very nice home cooked meals, and his wife Tatiana that will look after you during your visit. The restaurant concentrate on fish specials (inc. Morat lake of course) but not only that; meat, local vegetables. All that finshed with glass of wine supplied by one of the Vully winegrower...hmmmm...
Despite it being lunchtime on a Friday, there were no cheaper lunchtime options, just the full expensive menu. I chose a starter as a compromise and had a salad smoked duck breast with fig mustard dressing for Fr.23. .. It was absolutely swimming in oil/dressing and only a small portion for the money. The local white wine was good and at a good price. The garden was a bit rough and ready. Go to the other restaurant nearby!
