Restaurant La Taverne

We went there as a family reunion, a rather large group. Staff was helpful and understanding to speed things up when the kids got nervous with the (normal) wait.Consistent good food for everyone through the variety of dishes, seafood and meats.Only one tuna was ordered medium and was rather rare, not too much of a big deal for tuna. Had a very tasty salad and truly excellent calamari.A nice place I'd happily recommend for a tasty lunch. Enjoy :-)

Went with my family ( ages 12,9 and 5) and sat in the garden area ( under a big tree with play equipment for very little ones). The karaoke in the main restaurant would have been too loud, but each to their own! Friendly staff, tasty food and even a menu enfant gastronomique which had fish, prawns and calamari on it - something other than the usual steak hache and nuggets. Great value for money too.

Good place for a quick meal very good value piazza salad and icecream for 10 euro.Lovely play area for children,we visited early in summer as well with our grandchildren who were made very welcome,indoor and outdoor dining,lovely cool areas outside to eat,they also have a little bar area outside and a shop selling all fresh fruit and veg as well as wine by the litre.

I've only eaten the mussels and fries here, but I recommend the roquefort sauce. Also, the pizza looks good. Eat outside if possible as it is much more pleasant. The service is good, prices are moderate. Also, things one of the few places open all year round in Argeles.

The place was correct , the food was good but service was very slow and no organisated; the staff was not very responsive.
