Shihlin Taiwan Street Snacks

Ordered popcorn chicken. It was pretty soft.. nothing like popcorn. I was trying to show off Taiwanese food to my friends… but.. it’s embarrassing. Other branch has better popcorn chicken for sure. Very disappointing. Service is very friendly though. But the food is… very disappointing. Hope it just one instance.

Good solid place when you’re in the mood for Taiwanese street food. Very fast turnaround time if you order ahead, but finding parking may be a challenge on the busy streetParking: 3rd Avenue is a busy street, so allocate some time to find parking

Every time we come to San Mateo, even though we are already stuffed with a full meal from elsewhere, we will still swing by here and get their fried popcorn chicken or the XL chicken. It's that good. Enough said. ?

Love the street snacks! But I am bummed that they changed the mushrooms one to this thicker version. The thinner mushrooms were so much better crispier and tastier.
