Tamaras Weinstube Zum Guten Hirten

It is a beautiful, simple, traditional place run by a charming lady. In the evening of our visit the weather was very warm, so many people wanted a table outside. They quickly expanded their terrace area with tables and chairs stored on the street. For the hordes of people there were only two people who were fast and efficient. I had a very good, obviously very fresh fish and good wine (grauburgunder) through the glass in a generous amount. My son is good, but he said it was more or less like pizza.

The food was excellent and even better than we could have hoped for. What made our visit extra special was our fabulous waitress Jennifer; she was so patient and took the time to explain the menu items to us since we do not speak German. Fantastic evening!

This is a cozy place to eat very good traditional local food. The lady running the dining hall is very nice and helpful (in multiple languages! . They have quite a large selection of good wines. Definitely recommended.

Excellent service! The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The food came very fast and was delicious. Considering how good the food and the whole experience was, prices were surprisingly cheap.

Nice traditional place with friendly service and great atmosphere in the old Part of Konstanz. Great Dinnele!
