We have decided to try it, but that will be one and done. Chicken salad and macaroni salad were delicious. Chili was really good, but fat. Chicken sandwich was okay, but not great. The service was interesting. Supplement macaroni salad) came first before the drinks arrived. My husband then got his sandwich and was able to finish the food before they start cooking my food. There were other customers who came after we arrived who were served before my food arrived. No excuses or compensation were offered. Overall no pleasant experience.
Really funny, a must go. You can have a bowl of chili for breakfast as I did, and no one will harass you. Chili and coffee for breakfast, how does that sound? Make sure you get Texas Inn's own relish for your chili indescribably delicious. It is the original recipe of 87 years ago, with a cabbage floor. No pickles for them! The Relish is a treat.
With spending most my life in Texas, I would not compare this to Texas food! It was not good at all and burgers are extremely small.
